Materials needed:
A3 paper
board to clip paper on or an easel
2B pencil
black drawing ink
water container
ink container
paint brush with a pointed tip
What to do:
See what marks you can make with the ink and water.
If you paint water on the paper first then add ink, the ink will run or spread out.
You can also paint using bark, twigs, leaves, flowers or grass instead of a paintbrush to make markings also using these implements as stencils. Sticks, leaves and grass make thin lines.
After practicing using the various chosen drawing implements go outside and draw a tree or leaves using the same implements you practiced with earlier ... back
