Ampere
Ampere is the scientific name used to measure one unit of electric current, usually shortened to Amp. Ammeter is the device used by electrical workers, engineers and scientists to measure Amps in electrical circuits.
Project
Make a simple circuit, demonstrating the current used to make a light glow or a motor to run or you could think of something else to test. You will need an Ammeter or a multi-meter (a multi-meter has a built-in Ammeter), insulated wires, your chosen device should use a 12v or 6v battery. This project will demonstrate the current used by the device.
