Kaolin
| Kaolin, or China clay is a white or nearly white clay. When wet, it is plastic and made into pottery. It is formed underground when feldspar in granite is decomposed by ground water or by gases and steam. The chief sources of Kaolin are China, Britain, France, India, Russia and the US. |
