Cote d'Ivoire is a West
African country, its former name was The Ivory Coast. It borders Liberia and
Guinea to the east, Mali and Burkina Faso to the north, Ghana to the east and
the Gulf of Guinea to the south in the Atlantic Ocean.
The official language is
French. The country is one of the worlds largest producers of coffee. The land
area covers 319,820 square km (123,483 square miles). Some beautiful lakes to
explore are Lake de Kossou Tiebissou, and Lake de Buyo. Some interesting cities
to visit are of course the capital city Yamoussoukro, Abidjan, Bouake, and
Korhogo.
