North Korea's official
name is the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. Magnificent major
mountain ranges include the Nangnim Mountains, and the Taebaek Mountains.
Two notable peaks of interest are Mount Paektu, and Kumgang.

official language which could come in handy if you plan to visit one of
the following busy cities, Pyongyang, Hamhung, Chongjin, or Nampo. Their

plan on doing some wonderful shopping.
In Pyongyang you'll
find the 'Museum of the Revolution' which features a statue of Kim Il
Sung. South of Pyongyang is the 'Taesongsan Pleasure Ground' where
amusement rides, hikes along mountain paths, a Zoo, a Botanical Garden,
and the Mausoleum of Revolutionary Martyrs can be found.
