Historical Germany has
many places of interest like Bayreuth which contains the house and tomb of
famous composer Richard Wagner. There is the thickly forested mountain
range of the Black Forest which should not be missed. In Eisenach you can
find Wartburg castle. It is also the birthplace of composer Johann
Sebastian Bach, also the residence of Martin Luther and the place where he
attended school during his younger years.
Of course beautiful
Hamburg must not be missed either. Linderhof Castle, located near Ettal,
was built for King Ludwig II as homage to France's King Louis XIV and his
Palace of Versailles, as well as Neuschwanstein Castle in the Bavarian
Alps which was built for King Ludwig II between 1869 and 1886.
Some delightful rivers
to explore are the Danube, Elbe, Havel, Main, Oder, Rhine, Saale, and
Spree. Cities to visit should include Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Cologne,
Frankfurt, Essen, Dortmund, Stuttgart, Dusseldorf, Bremen, Duisburg,
Hanover, Nuremberg, and Leipzig.
