Russia is becoming
more and more popular as a tourist destination which is no wonder when you
consider some of the Russian history and rich culture it has to offer. The
landscape varies enormous from hilly to mountainous tableland, flat
plains, and active volcanoes on the Kamchatka Peninsula and the Kuril
Islands.
The main cities are
St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Nizhni Novgorod, and the capital Moscow
where you can find Red Square, the Kremlin, and Lenin's Tomb. Famous St.
Basil's Cathedral is part of the group of buildings known as the Kremlin.
