Norfolk Island was
established as a convict settlement in 1788 and is a territory of Australia
located in the Pacific Ocean, 1676 km (1040 miles) east-north-east of Sydney.
This delightful place is of volcanic origin with Mount Pitt and Mount Bates
dominating the island. An interesting destination and definitely worthwhile
visiting.
