Amazing Papua New
Guinea is an island nation located just north of Australia in the
southwest Pacific Ocean. Dense jungles, snowcapped mountains, exotic birds
of paradise, and ancient cultures make this place a desirable tourist
destination. With over 700 different languages across the country and its
rich culture and history Papua New Guinea has something to offer for
everyone.
The country is made up
of the eastern half of the island of New Guinea and a chain of tropical
islands, including the Bismarck Archipelago and Bougainville. The west of
the mainland portion is Irian Jaya, a province of Indonesia.
