Beautiful Tonga consists of about 170 islands and these are divided into three main groups, Vava'u in the north, Ha'apai in the centre, and Tongatapu in the south. Tongatapu is the largest island and most heavily populated, the capital is also located on this island. Tonga's closest neighbours are Fiji, Western Samoa, and Niue.
