FRINGING

Fringing is one of the simplest yet most useful of all the paper skills.
You can represent grass with fringed paper or make flowers with fringed paper.

How to make fringed paper:

Grass strips - Fold a thin green strip of paper lengthwise.
Cut fringe into the folded paper by making a cut with your scissors at regular intervals.

Flower fringed paper - Cut several circles of paper and glue or staple in the centre. Fringe around circumference. When done, paste onto some sort of backing and cover the staple in the centre with some crumpled paper representing the centre of the flower.
