Did you know that a lake is not just a lake? Believe it or not, there are different types of lakes. Yes... there are shallow lakes and deep lakes, murky lakes and crystal clear lakes, but did you know there are crater lakes, glacial lakes and oxbow lakes too? If you didn't know and you are interested in finding out, do some research on the Internet or dig up a book or two from your library. Find out about the different types of lakes, how these were formed and sure enough you will discover that the lakes are called because of a very good reason. So go digging up the facts and note your answers below. Have fun!
