Maths has many areas of learning. Starting with the basics of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. After that it branches out and for some students there is no stopping. For others it becomes difficult to grasp and this is usually due to the fact that they haven't understood the basics or one of the basics mentioned above. If a student struggles with addition it would be wise to continue revising them until they have learned them properly. It will take time but it will be a wise investment of time as this student will excel in the future and will be thankful for the educational instructions received earlier on in life. There could be several reasons why a student is not understanding certain learning areas and you may need to look at issues such as ADHD or bullying. Problems such as ADHD or bullying can interfere with learning and you may like to introduce group learning to avoid bullying or cut it out all together as group learning may well be the cause of the problem. There is a huge amount of worksheets, interactive games, online quizzes and activities on our web site. Feel free to search around and watch your students' enthusiasm for learning grow.
